Control: A Staged Reading

Proud to have "staged" my play Control. 
I started writing this play after the revelations that came as a result of Christine Blasey Ford’s incredibly brave and gut wrenching testimony. But this play has become so much more than that. It has also become a play about, intersectionality, gender, race, academia, sexual orientation, and the fissures that have since formed within the feminist community. This play is also about being an ally in a political moment where many are being educated on their own biases (myself included) and how we undermine the principles we tout.

It is with great pleasure that I am inviting all of you to a night of virtual theater, featuring a diverse coalition of predominantly female actors who are all a part of the BC theater community.
